Katie qualified in 2015 as a Paediatric Nurse and spent 6 years working on a paediatric surgical ward, before beginning her career as a paediatric stoma & urology nurse specialist. Katie is passionate about providing the best care and education to children and young people with complex bowel and bladder issues, supporting them with achieving continence and, where possible, enabling them to become independent with this. She is keen to shine a light on paediatric stoma care nurses and the wonderful work we all do.
