My career has been dedicated to stoma care for more than 22 years. I started as a Stoma Care Nurse at Belfast City Hospital, where I spent 10 years supporting patients through their stoma journey. I then joined Coloplast as a Stoma Care Nurse Specialist, spending the next 12 years working closely with patients and healthcare teams across the northern Ireland. In 2023 I also expanded my clinical practice and trained up in Bowel management and ISC to help support patients on their bowel and bladder journeys. More recently, I made the exciting move into a Territory Manager role within the Coloplast Ostomy team. While my role has changed, my passion remains the same: supporting healthcare professionals, improving patient outcomes, and making a positive difference for people living with a stoma. “My career has always been about putting patients first and helping people live confidently with an intimate healthcare need. I’m excited to bring that experience into my new role with Coloplast.”
