MIREILLE HAMSON Clinical Research Lead has over 20 years of clinical experience in stoma care across both primary and secondary care settings. She brings extensive specialist knowledge in stoma management, patient-centred care, and applied clinical research.

Since joining Salts Healthcare in 2008, she has worked across multiple areas of the organisation, combining clinical expertise with industry experience to support the development of innovative solutions for people living with a stoma. Her recent focus has been on skin health research, clinical evidence generation, and improving outcomes through a deeper understanding of patient and healthcare professional needs.

Through collaboration with patients, clinicians, researchers, and industry partners, she is passionate about translating clinical insight into meaningful research that supports evidence-based practice and enhances the lived experience of people with a stoma.
