Stephanie qualified as a registered nurse in the Philippines in 2012 and gained experience across a range of various nursing specialties before relocating to the UK. She began her NHS career in gastroenterology in Mid Wales, where her experience nurtured a growing interest in stoma care. She later worked in intensive care in Bristol before specialising as a Stoma Care Clinical Nurse Specialist. Her role in stoma care further developed her particular interest in the Urology aspect and with experience, has highlighted gaps in the evidence base, fostering a strong commitment to research, Trust and National-level clinical audits, and the advancement of evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes. She is passionate about continuous professional development, advancing evidence-based practice, and delivering high-quality, patient-centred care through innovation, collaboration, and education.
