Senior Coloplast Nurse, Coloplast

Having qualified from University College Cork with a BSc Nursing in 2008, I worked in acute colorectal and urology units gaining extensive experience. I have been working as a Coloplast community nurse since 2017, based in Cork, Ireland. My current role incorporates stoma care, bladder management with Intermittent self catheterisation and bowel management techniques, including trans anal irrigation, supporting patients with complex functional and neurogenic bowel conditions. I support patients with both newly formed and established stomas. I have a keen interest in urostomy care and improving outcomes for these patients using a holistic patient centred approach.
