I have been a Stoma Care Nurse for 14 years. The first 11 years I was working at Leicester General Hospital. For the past 3 years I have been community based. I love working in Stoma Care and playing a vital role in my patient’s Stoma journey. The developments in Stoma Care in the 14 years I have been in my role is brilliant and I like to think has transformed patient’s experiences. I am always keen to improve and develop my own skills and enjoy attending ASCN conferences to learn and engage with other Stoma Care professionals.
