Caroline Rudoni

Patient & Clinical Services Director, SecuriCare Medical

Caroline Rudoni has over 30 years specialising in Stoma Care Nursing. She is currently Director of Patient & Clinical Services at SecuriCare Medical, leading and supporting a team of over 50 Stoma Care Nurses. Caroline is an ASCN Regional Representative and Chair of the ASCN Surrey Group as well as serving as a Nurse Representative for the BHTA.

Caroline qualified as a Registered General Nurse with a First-Class BSc (Hons) Nursing degree from the University of the West of England, Bristol. She began her career at St George’s NHS Healthcare Trust, progressing to Ward Sister before moving into Stoma Care as a Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist. During her 17 years in this role, she gained extensive experience across neonatal, paediatric, urology and colorectal stoma care, fistula management, intestinal failure and trauma, working across primary, secondary and tertiary care settings.

Following her move into the commercial healthcare sector, Caroline has held senior leadership roles managing hospital and community nursing teams, overseeing patient care services and developing educational programmes for healthcare professionals.

Caroline has published several papers, contributed to book chapters and presented at National and International conferences.

With a passion for improving patient outcomes and supporting professional development, Caroline brings extensive clinical expertise, leadership experience and a strong commitment to advancing stoma care nursing.
