Paul Russell-Roberts RGN, BSc, PG Cert is a registered nurse with over two decades of experience in healthcare and more than 14 years specialising in stoma care. He has worked across clinical practice and nurse education, developing a strong interest in advancing specialist nursing capability and professional confidence within stoma services.

Currently working as ostomy education lead for Coloplast, Paul leads the development of education initiatives designed to strengthen clinical reasoning, leadership skills, and service impact among specialist stoma care nurses. His work focuses on bridging practical experience with structured academic development, ensuring nurses feel confident not only in patient care, but also in articulating their value within complex healthcare systems.

Paul is passionate about peer-to-peer learning, reflective practice, and supporting nurses to think deeply, act expertly, and lead confidently. Within ASCN UK, he is committed to contributing to education strategy, collaboration, and the continued development of specialist stoma care practice across the UK.
