Julia Williams | Associate Professor

Julia Williams, SFHEA, PhD, MA, BSc, RGN is an Associate Professor at The Royal Marsden School and has over 30 years of experience in nursing education, research, and clinical innovation. She holds a PhD in Nursing from King’s College London and leads curriculum development, research modules, and grant initiatives. She has published extensively on Gastrointestinal care, decolonising nursing, and digital pedagogy, and co-authored the Oxford Handbook of Gastrointestinal Nursing. Her research includes multicentre studies on student preparedness and the MediLingo project. Julia has served as Consultant Editor for Gastrointestinal Nursing, is on the editorial board of the British Journal of Nursing. She actively contributes to national networks, external examining, and knowledge exchange across academia and clinical practice.
