ASCNUK26 Raffle
At ASCNUK26 this year in Birmingham, we will be holding a raffle to raise money for the fantastic charity, A Bear Named Buttony.
A Bear Named Buttony supports children and young people who have a stoma. The charity also supports paediatric stoma nurses by providing resources such as stoma models to help prepare children and their families before surgery.
At ASCNUK26, A Bear Named Buttony will be highlighting that it provides resources for young people too. Both of its young packs are suitable for those up to the age of 25, meaning it can offer support to stoma nurses and their patients across the UK. There is a perception that the charity only supports children, so the team is keen to raise awareness of the support available for young adults too.
Funds raised will go towards the charity’s young adult resources, including a washbag filled with helpful non-medical items and a new book pack containing a young adult novel, quiz book, pen and stress toy.
Please join us in raising money for this important cause.
