Paul Trevatt | Co-Founder #ProtectNurse Campaign
Paul has worked in cancer and palliative care nursing for 30+ years across the NHS, and voluntary sectors, where he has held a variety of roles including clinical and management, as well as strategy and policy.
He is a co-founder of the #ProtectNurse campaign, which seeks to protect the title “Nurse”. The campaign has attracted the support of Dawn Butler MP, members of the public and a huge number of organisations. This year, on International Nurses Day, the Government announced it will introduce legislation to protect the title Nurse.
Paul was named Nursing Times leader and NHS Coach / Mentor of the year. He was later awarded a Royal College of Nursing Fellowship (FRCN), which is the highest honour the Royal College can offer to recognise nurses who have significantly contributed to the improvement of heath care and the advancement of the nursing profession.
